Thomas Olsson is a Swedish illustrator. He has a degree from HDK (The School of Design and Crafts at Göteborg University) and has even worked as a teacher in visual communication for RMI-Bergh’s (School of Communication). Thomas has his roots in traditional creation but today, works primarily with digital media. This allows for artistic expression to dominate over technology.
In recent years he has specialised in retro illustrations, in particular the styles made popular in the 1940s and 1950s.
Thomas works with advertising agencies, newspapers, publishers and educational institutions. His clients are primarily in Scandinavia, but can also be found in Germany, Holland, Austria, Australia and the U.S.
Thomas’ wide range of experience has helped him develop an understanding of many different styles and expressions. This is a major benefit to Thomas’ clients as he assures the pictures will communicate the message.
